- Chocolate shavings
Directions

Bars can be a hit or miss when it comes to meeting someone. However, the best way to ensure your efforts produce positive results is to make sure you don’t come across as being “the creepy guy”. Nobody wants to be that guy and nobody wants to talk to that guy either. Here are some tips to help avoid that unwanted title:
Keep Things Friendly
Keeping things friendly is a great start. If a girl thinks your number one goal is to get in her pants, you’ve set yourself up for rejection. Avoid laying on the charm too thick and erase any cheesy pick up lines from your vocabulary. There’s a reason they’re called cheesy, besides they don’t work. It might be a little challenging at first, but treat her like a cool friend that happens to be female. Trust me, it will help take the pressure off both of you.
Be Funny
Being casual and sprinkling in a little comedy is two more ways to avoid the creepy factor. Everyone enjoys having fun, especially when your in a bar setting. Make a casual joke or if you do or say something a little silly, brush it off with some humor. Now this doesn’t mean making fun of her outfit or talking shit about that douche bag at the other end of the bar. Just have fun!
Avoid In Depth Questions
One thing to keep in mind is that when you’re first meeting someone it isn’t to plan your future wedding, so don’t treat it that way. Don’t ask too many in depth questions. Seem interested without getting too personal and interesting without being fake. And don’t overstay your welcome, recognize the signs when she isn’t interested or maybe is just ready to get back to her group.

Everyone enjoys being part of the “in” crowd every now and then, right? Here are some tips of who to get friendly with at the bars.
You may think making friends with the owner is the best way to be part of the inside crowd. Although that is definitely one way, it is not necessarily the best. If the owner is at the bar, he or she is often behind the scenes, which doesn’t necessarily help you. Besides, more people than you might think drop the owner’s name so unless he or she is present it won’t hold too much merit at the door.
The person at the door is going to be one of your best bets. Making friends with him will result in a few benefits. If there is a line, chances are he will get you in without having to wait. If the bar is charging a cover, he might also be able to waive the cover charge or at least work out a discount. Tipping the door guy for helping you out will always benefit you!
Once you are inside, buddy up to the bartender. As I have mentioned before, bartenders love regulars. Establishing a relationship with your favorite bartender has plenty of benefits! Your wait time will be short if at all and you may receive a free drink or shot on occasion. Taking care of your bartender by having your order ready, being friendly and of course tipping well will definitely help you.
Don’t expect to make your connections all in one night, try starting slow and building up a relationship. Once the relationship is established the perks will follow.

Aside from the obvious presence of alcohol and people, bars and clubs can differ quite a bit. Of course there are plenty of hybrid-type establishments that offer a little touch of both worlds. Stereotypically speaking, the two are distinctly different. Keep in mind there are many levels of each from dive bars to sports bars, concert clubs to nightclubs, and plenty in between.
The Basic Differences
Clubs normally have unnecessary cover charges, strictly enforced dress codes and some intense lighting effects to enhance your dancing experience.
Bars on the other hand are usually more laid back, if the bar has a dress code it’s usually pretty basic (shoes, shirts, nothing that appears threatening) and they don’t always have dancing. The main attraction at a good club is an amazing DJ who makes you never want to leave the dance floor. The main attraction at a good bar is a good social scene and of course, a good drink!
It really comes down to preference and personality. Whether it’s a bar or a club, the most important factor is that you have a good time.

As with many shots and drinks, there are a few variations of the oatmeal cookie shot. I find this to be the best tasting, and the one that most accurately resembles an actual oatmeal cookie. This is a great shot to enjoy around the holidays!
Ingredients
1/2 oz Bailey’s Irish Cream
1/2 oz Butterscotch schnapps
1/2 oz Goldschlager
Fill a shaker with ice and pour equal parts of all three ingredients into the shaker. Shake all ingredients well and strain into a shot glass. Not into shots? Pour all ingredients over ice and enjoy as a party cocktail or dessert drink!

Guys, I hate to break it to you, but many of you have fallen victim to “the leaching bar bitch.”
You know, that girl who’s flirting with you and gives you the vibe that there’s “potential.” And then, as soon as you buy her a cocktail, she’s gone giggling with her girlfriends. I have seen this time and time again. So let’s get a couple of things straight and put that bitch in her rightful place.
Never assume that buying a girl a drink gets an automatic free pass into her pants. Just as girls shouldn’t assume that they’re entitled to free drinks because they are female. Make sure that she’s not hopping from boy toy to boy toy looking for guys to continually fuel her party. Be smarter than the drunken girl.
Beware of the hot chick that conveniently becomes overly friendly just before you place your drink order. If the situation seems too good to be true, sadly enough, it probably is. Tell her the line’s behind you.
So guys, if you’re cool with having some chick take advantage of you without you benefiting at all – it’s your choice. However, if you’re not, beware because “the leaching bar bitch” could be right next to you and ready to strike!

Alright guys, I get that you probably don’t have secret aspirations to be the male version of Martha Stewart and you have more important things to deal with like studying, girls and making my delicious shots – I hope! However, if you’re planning to host a Halloween party this year, you’ll definitely need food. I’m not knocking your usual menu consisting of a bag of chips and a keg, but why not kick it up a notch? Here are a few tasty items to serve at your next party and the best part is they are super easy to make!
1. Chili Cheese Dip
Take a block of cream cheese, a can of Hormel chili and place it into a bowl. Microwave for a few minutes until everything is melted. Stir and serve with tortilla chips.

2. Salsa and Cheese Dip
Not into chili? This one is even easier. Take a block of cream cheese and place it on a plate or dish. Pour a jar of your favorite salsa over it and serve with tortilla chips.
3. Simple Nacho Bar
Brown some ground beef and season with a packet of taco seasoning. Warm up a can of nacho cheese preferably in a Crock Pot. Serve with tortilla chips, shredded lettuce, sliced olives, jalapenos, sour cream, guacamole, hot sauce etc.
4. Dessert You Ask?
Why not try pudding shots? That’s right, pudding instead of Jello. Grab a box of chocolate pudding and following the recipe. Substitute vanilla vodka, kahlua or frangelico in place of cold water. Trust me, the ladies are going to LOVE these!!

Happy Halloween my little goblins,
