Fox 11 news in Los Angeles, CA recently sat down with two experts in the grooming industry to discuss the growth in popularity of the men’s grooming market. First a men’s salon was highlighted where the majority of revenue is coming from facial cream sales and facial treatments. Next, a plastic surgeon from Beverly Hills, CA notes that 30 percent of his clientele are men getting botox treatments and facelifts.
While these treatments may be a bit aggressive for some of our readers. It still shows the growth and mainstream acceptance that male grooming is having on society.

I agree with the market boom for the male market. With a wealth of information on the internet, men are becoming more educated on the benefits of looking and feeling younger. I think we should continue to take baby steps in our pursuit of men accepting beautification products. I think if the market pushes too hard trying to make a quick dollar, the market may collapse. I’m talking about male make-up and cosmetic surgery. As long as they keep it subtle, it will catch on. But if it is too blunt, then men who would have tried a facial won’t even look at a salon.
