Fall Off In Style With Hard Cider Recipes

In Colonial America, hard cider was the country’s most popular beverage. John Adams was said to have consumed it every morning. Today, cider is making a comeback. In fact, Shanken News Daily reports cider fave Angry Orchard may out sell its Boston Beer sibling Samuel Adams Boston Lager this year.

Chances are, you’ve enjoyed this sweet and fizzy nectar recently, although we bet you haven’t tried it in such delicious concoctions as the recipes that follow created by Niccole Trzaska of The Liberty Bar in NYC.

Fall Harvest

  • 1 oz. Sobieski Cynamon Vodka
  •  2 oz. hard cider
  •  ¼ oz. vanilla simple syrup
  • ¼ oz. lemon juice
  • Cinnamon stick for garnish

Instructions:

In a shaker add all ingredients with ice. Shake and strain into a glass, garnish with a cinnamon stick and serve.

Autumn Rocks

  •  1 oz. Camus Vs Cognac
  •  ¼ oz. Lucid Absinthe
  •  2 oz. hard cider
  •  1 oz. lemonade
  •  Lemon zest for garnish

Instructions

In a shaker add all ingredients with ice. Shake and strain into a tall glass filled with ice and garnish with lemon zest and serve.

October Sunrise

  • 1 oz. Blue Nectar Reposado Tequila
  •  3 oz. hard cider
  •  ¼ oz. crème de peach
  •  ¼ oz. marmalade syrup
  •  Chopped peaches and mint for garnish

Instructions

In a cocktail shaker add all liquid ingredients and ice. Shake and strain into a mason jar. Garnish with chopped peaches and mint and serve.
